NDIS Apartments, Doncaster is part of the National Disability and Insurance Scheme’s (NDIS) Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) rollout. The program is designed to provide NDIS participants with extreme functional impairment a high-quality dwelling for themselves and a support worker. Funded by the Federal Government, the NDIS Apartments, Doncaster consists of eight separate two-bedroom two-bathroom apartments across three levels. The specialist housing solution was designed by Caulfield Krivanek Architecture and includes a range of features designed to accommodate the needs of its occupants, including wheelchair access, modified kitchens, and automated doors, windows, and blinds.
Our MAX® 100 Centre Double Glazed system was used by the fabricator, Taranto Windows + Doors, due to its performance and design freedom. The system is a favourite among architects for apartment buildings thanks to its compatibility with other MAX framing systems.
