U-MAX thermally broken system for residential application
Construction is wrapping up on a new home in the Brighton area of Melbourne that utilised U-MAX™ systems in order to achieve energy performance objectives.
The EDGE Architectural systems are primarily used for commercial applications, so this was a particularly fun project for us.
Despite being designed to evoke a footprint in the sand, the home owners wanted a low carbon footprint for the residence and to employ sustainable building practices. The U-MAX™ thermally broken systems could accommodate both the unique design and the energy performance needs.
The U-MAX™ thermally broken 100 Centre Double Glaze, U-MAX ™150 thermally broken Offset and Commercial stacking door systems were used.
